Meet the Doctor

While in college, Dr. Daugherty was in a near-fatal car accident and found that the most pain relief he experienced came from the Chiropractic care he received during his many months of recovery. Shortly after that he changed his major to become a Chiropractor. He graduated from Parker College Of Chiropractic, served as a Chiropractic Intern at a clinic and hospital in Mexico City, and returned to New Mexico where he opened his own practice over 17 years ago.

Dr. Daugherty, a dedicated Spine and Disc Specialist, uses the most advanced Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression, Stem Cell/Regenerative Tissue Therapy, and Chiropractic care to improve the health and wellness in all areas of his patient's lives. Patients seek care from him for car wreck injuries, discomfort, and lifelong wellness and longevity. Dr. Daugherty takes a 'whole person' approach and finds the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, as opposed to just treating symptoms.

Drawing on years of education and clinical experience, Dr. Daugherty employs a variety of Chiropractic techniques to address musculoskeletal issues, alleviate pain, and improve mobility. He is committed to helping patients achieve optimal health and wellness through scientific and traditional treatments. With a deep understanding of the body's biomechanics and a passion for his patient’s healing, Dr. Daugherty provides personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs. He is continually researching, attending seminars, and consulting with colleagues to further his knowledge so he can provide his patients with the most effective, cost and time efficient care available.

Outside of the office, Dr. Daugherty, an avid outdoorsman, enjoys spending time with his parents, extended family, wife, and sons.

Anderson has been our office manager and “friendly face up front” for over 5 years. She has a passion for making the patient experience pleasant and stress-free. Anderson understands the importance of clear communication and personalized attention, striving to meet the unique needs of everyone who walks through the door.

Anderson works closely with Dr. Daugherty, patients, and the staff to coordinate everything from appointment scheduling to computer systems. She is adept at resolving challenges and implementing innovative solutions to enhance productivity and patient satisfaction. Anderson is dedicated to fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture and believes in empowering team members to excel in their roles. She provides ongoing support and training to ensure all team members perform at their best.

In her spare time, Anderson enjoys spending time with family and friends, being a hands-on Aunt, staying active through working out, and embodying the principles of holistic wellness. She is a lifelong learner and is continuously seeking opportunities to expand her knowledge and skills in healthcare administration and Chiropractic care

Alexis is our lead Spinal Decompression and SoftWave Technician. He is dedicated to helping patients find relief from back pain through non-invasive Spinal Decompression and SoftWave therapies. Alexis brings a blend of technical expertise and compassion to his role, ensuring that each patient receives personalized care in a comfortable and supportive environment. He works closely with Dr. Daugherty to provide Spinal Decompression and SoftWave treatments tailored to the specific needs of every patient.

With a keen understanding of spinal anatomy and biomechanics, Alexis utilizes state-of-the-art equipment and techniques to decompress the spine gently and safely, relieving pressure on compressed discs and nerves. He prioritizes patient safety and comfort throughout the treatment process, providing reassurance and support to alleviate any concerns. With SoftWave he uses a non-invasive procedure that utilizes acoustic wave technology to stimulate healing and regeneration in tissues. Alexis is committed to staying abreast of the latest advancements in Spinal Decompression and SoftWave therapies.

Outside of work, Alexis enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, and engaging in creative pursuits. He is deeply grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the well-being of others through his work as a Spinal Decompression and SoftWave Technician.
